The organisation operates on a non-profit basis and is supported by volunteers, members, and contributors.

  • Weather and terrain conditions may vary

  • Some sites may have limited access or facilities

Mpumalanga Heritage, its committee members, volunteers, and affiliates shall not be held liable for injury, loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from participation in activities, except where required by law.


Participants are expected to:

  • Follow instructions given by organisers or guides

  • Respect heritage sites, landowners, and local communities

  • Comply with all safety and conservation guidelines

5. HERITAGE PROTECTION AND ETHICAL CONDUCT
All members and participants are required to:

  • Respect and protect heritage sites and artefacts

  • Refrain from removing, damaging, or disturbing heritage material

  • Adhere to ethical heritage and conservation practices

Any behaviour that threatens heritage resources may result in removal from activities or termination of membership.


6. CONTRIBUTED MATERIAL
By submitting photographs, research, documents, or other material to Mpumalanga Heritage, you confirm that:

  • You own the material or have permission to share it

  • The material does not infringe third-party rights

Unless otherwise agreed, contributed material may be used by the organisation for educational, research, or promotional purposes with appropriate credit given where possible.


7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
