Join us for a full weekend celebrating the rich history of Wakkerstroom, one of Mpumalanga's oldest and most characterful towns, as it marks 167 years since its establishment in 1859.
Nestled in a picturesque valley near the Mpumalanga–KwaZulu-Natal border, Wakkerstroom has kept its rustic charm — two tarred roads, no traffic lights, and a wealth of heritage in its streets.
The weekend brings that history to life through re-enactments, guided tours, exhibitions and talks.
